Community Water Supply 

Drilling to a minimum of 500 ft. (about 153m) before getting potable water in this area, Umunachi Mbano. Cost of project is beyond the rural people. Friends-In-Need Foundation embarked on this project to provide relief to the rural people, especially during the Dry Season, usually running from October to April, when the rains cease falling. During this period, the local streams which are the main source of drinking water for these people dry up. The alternative source of drinking water is by trucking or buying bottled water both sources of which are outside the reach of the rural people.

The last water well was commissioned on January 3rd. 2020, to the glory of God. And the people jubilated with songs and dancing.
